Аннотация
Предпосылки исследования: эффективность корректирующей обратной связи является противоречивым вопросом и, соответственно, одним из центральных элементов обучения письму на втором иностранном языке во всем мире.
Пробел в знаниях и цель исследования: считается, что предоставление письменной корректирующей обратной связи может негативно повлиять на уровень сложности письменного текста, однако этот вопрос изучен недостаточно. В связи с этим в данном исследовании рассматривается влияние двух типов стратегий комплексной письменной корректирующей обратной связи: прямой корректирующей обратной связи (ПКОС) и металингвистического объяснения (МО) на синтаксическую сложность письменной речи изучающих иностранный язык.
Методы: данное исследование было квазиэкспериментальным и проводилось по схеме "пре-тест – корректировка – пост-тест – пауза – отложенный пост-тест". Участниками исследования стали 90 турецких учащихся уровня владения английским языком выше среднего, чей уровень языка и навыки письма контролировались путем проведения Оксфордского теста на определение уровня владения языком и теста IELTS Writing Task 2. Участники были распределены на три группы: ПКОС, МО и БОС (т.е. без обратной связи по грамматическим ошибкам). Период обучения/проведения контроля длился пять недель. Каждую неделю каждый участник писал эссе аргументированного типа в классе, а затем получал указанную обратную связь. В течение двухнедельного интервала между пост-тестом и отложенным пост-тестом письменные работы не проводились. Для расчета показателей синтаксической сложности использовался веб-анализатор синтаксической сложности L2 Syntactic Complexity Analyser, разработанный Сяофей Лу (Lu, 2010). Для получения результатов был использован многомерный дисперсионный анализ.
Результаты и значимость исследования: выяснилось, что группа МО не существенно отличается от группы БОС. Группа ПКОС значительно превосходила группу МО по количеству грамматических основ на предложение (ГО/С) в текстах как в пост-тесте, так и в отсроченном пост-тесте. Группа ПКОС также значительно превзошла группу БОС по количеству грамматических основ на единицу текста (ГО/Т), комплексных единиц на единицу текста (КЕ/Т) и ГО/С в пост-тестах, но положительный результат ПКОС на КЕ/Т был непродолжительным и снизился после двухнедельного интервала.
