INFORMATION WAR: THE PROBLEM OF THEORETICAL INTERPRETATION

In the article author focuses on indirect forms of confrontation between states, paying particular attention to the information wars. Author considers the problem of interpretation of the term “information war”, provides a classification of four generations of wars (4GW) and its analysis, discusses the definition and essence of the phenomenon of unconventional war (UW). Author analyzes domestic and foreign approaches to the definition of new forms of conflicts in the information space.
