Abstract
In this article, we have researched the general value orientation of modern Russia. On the basis of secondary data analysis of different sociological agencies proposed a hierarchy of value preferences of the Russian population. Identified processes of traditional values inversion of the Russian state, which is a hindrance to ensuring effective governance.
