Abstract
The article present the results of experimental studies of the influence of active diluent Etal-1 on the rheological and elastic-strength properties of epoxy composites. By using the reverse torsion pendulum, the authors studied the temperature dependence of the dynamic shear modulus, loss modulus and mechanical loss tangent of epoxy composites. It was found that the results obtained from the analysis of the temperature dependence of the dynamic shear modulus and loss modulus results show the same characteristic temperature of a-transition, which should be regarded as the glass transition temperature of polymer composite.
