Abstract
This article considers the methods of forming of a tolerant person at school by means of history and social science classes. The author analyzes the teacher’s activities on educating a tolerant individual. In this connection, the study focuses on role-playing games, problem situations, art projects, national holidays, and the work of the school museum.
