Аннотация
The purpose of the study is to determine the role of physical culture in the formation of citizenship and patriotism among university students.
Research methods: literature review, regulatory legal acts; surveys; mathematical processing of research results, information gathering.
Research results and conclusions. The results of the study clearly demonstrated that engaging in physical culture and sports contributes to the self-affirmation and socialization of young people, the development of their personalities, and allows them to realize their physical and intellectual abilities, thereby playing a significant role in shaping citizenship and patriotism among the student youth.
