Inner Radius, Polarization, and Circular Truncation of a Set

The paper considers the difference between the reduced module m(B, 0) of an open set B, 0 ∈ B, and the reduced module m(B_r, 0) of its circular truncation B_r, where B_r = B ∩ {|z| < r}. It is proved that this difference does not decrease under polarization and circular symmetrization. Bibliography: 6 titles.
