Abstract
Results of studying the effect of strengthening a HSS 6-5-2 steel surface on its resistance to the contact wear have been presented in the paper. It has been proved that the oriented structurization of carburized layers is ensured by the final conditions of the heat treatment. The given structure and surface properties are formed, which enables the resistance of tools for cold stamping to be increased.
