Horizontal Flows of Sedimentary Matter in the Coastal Zones of the Barents and White Seas

Abstract

The first data on the lateral movement of sessile organisms in the water column are obtained. It is revealed that the lateral flow of suspended matter in the coastal regions is 50–210 times greater than the vertical flow of matter to the bottom.
