Abstract
The capabilities of the Amines software module in the Aspen HYSYS software suite to simulate units for amine purification from acidic admixtures at natural gas plants are examined. A typical low-capacity natural gas liquefaction plant is used as an example to show that this software module can not only simulate but also optimize the design processing parameters of amine purification units.
