Abstract
The article presents the results of treatment of 249 patients with neoplastic lesions of the head of the pancreas complicated by obstructive jaundice secondary to severe , were treated at the surgical clinics GKB after SP Botkin Clinical Hospital № 1 and the NI Pirogov from 2008 to 2012. The ratio of male to female ratio was 1:1.7 , respectively (155 and 194). Mean age was 65,8 ± 0,7 years. It is shown that the use of the algorithm instrumental diagnosis in patients with obstructive jaundice , including EndoUZI allows a differentiated approach to the choice of biliary decompression in patients with obstructive jaundice of tumorous lesions of the pancreatic head.
