Abstract

K-v's bone and tuberculosis credo is well known to Russian surgeons by his speeches, always very bright, at surgical and tbc congresses and at meetings of the Moscow and Leningrad Surgical Societies. T. K. K. is a promoter of the conservative direction in the therapy of bone and joint tbc. The sanatorium in Sokolniki, run by him, serves as an excellent place for such propaganda. Many of the Russian surgeons who visited this sanatorium and saw with their own eyes the excellent results of the treatment used here, left for their places with the firm intention to give up the knife and create in themselves at least a faint semblance of what they saw in Moscow.
