Abstract
Gannushkin begins with the fact that “clinical psychiatry is going through a crisis.” Speaking without making absolutely any distinction between Soviet psychiatry and bourgeois psychiatry, referring the so-called crisis to Soviet psychiatry, G. is definitely making a mistake. psychiatry at a time when it is freeing itself from the slavish dependence in which it was previously in bourgeois psychiatry, when we have outlined and are pursuing our own paths for the further development of theoretical and practical psychiatry, and when we successfully apply in psychiatry the Marxo-Leninist methodology, which is outside doubts do not know the crisis and resolves any crisis situation.G. until the last moment of his life could not free himself from the influence of bourgeois psychiatry, he entirely stands under the banner of the old, Kraepelin psychiatry and he speaks openly about this in his book.
