Abstract
The physiological effects produced by the artificial mountain sun include, among other things, lowering blood pressure. Kestner attributes this to the effect of inhalation of nitrous oxide (N2O), which is produced by electrical discharge. Pollitzer and Stolz (Münch, m. Woch, 1924, no. 29) set themselves the goal of resolving the following questions:
