Abstract
Trying to establish a connection between the shapes of the skull and a predisposition to certain diseases of the ear, nose and its accessory cavities and various courses of the disease, V.E. Perekalin (Journal of the ear. Nose and throat, vol. III, No. 1 and 2) made a number of studies in this direction, and was convinced that the dolichocephalic skull, being the most perfect in design, is the least susceptible to these diseases.
