Abstract
Violations of the contractile function of the uterus quite often serve as the basis for serious diseases, in particular bleeding after childbirth, abortion, with fibroids. In such cases, the fight against bleeding should be based on active intervention in the system that regulates the contractile activity of the uterus. One of the links in this system includes neurohumoral regulation (acetylcholine-cholinesterase). The mediator function of acetylcholine in the transmission of impulses to the muscle depends entirely on the amount and activity of cholinesterase, which destroys acetylcholine. By acting with substances that block cholinesterase, uterine contractions can be increased.
