Abstract
One of the severe complications of the course of gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer is a relatively rare gastrogenic tetany, known under various names: chlorohydropenic syndrome, chloropenia, chloroprivial uremia, gastrogenic chloroprivative tetany, hypochloremic azotemia, etc.
