Abstract
Abstract. Examination of 55 patients using infrared photography revealed changes in the saphenous veins, and in a number of patients the place of occlusion in the deep veins was determined. The objectivity of registration and clarity of the image, the simplicity, safety and information content of the infrared photography method allow us to recommend it for widespread use both in surgical practice and in medical and labor expertise.
