Abstract
As evidenced by our numerous observations, sodium chloride is a powerful tool in the prevention and treatment of wounds. 10% saline solution is indispensable in severe cases of infected wounds, as well as in operations in purulent lesions. In the treatment of infected wounds, most favorable outcomes can be noted; wound healing ended in rapid scarring, and surgical - in purulent processes, such as: purulent peritonitis, appendicitis, salpingitis, etc., gave good results - no deaths were observed during operations in purulent foci.
