Abstract
It is now becoming as if it is superfluous to prove how important nutrition is in the treatment of diseases not only of the gastrointestinal tract, but of all other organs and systems. Nutrition is beginning to take its place in therapy as a key therapeutic factor, which justifies the term "therapeutic nutrition".
