Abstract
this article is the first attempt to describe the names of celestial bodies in the anthroponymic system of the Turkish language in connection with the cult of the sky, which is also directly connected with the Cosmos. Personal names with ancient cosmogonic beliefs are based on historical facts. Borrowed Turkic names, which entered the Turkish language with the adoption of Islam, did not cause the disappearance of names associated with the pagan tradition. In each historical period, personal names have always preserved and conveyed valuable information to future generations in the field of linguoculturology.
