The specifics of the nuclear layer of the image of the world of Chinese and Russian students: aerobatic reserch

the article highlights the relevance of the special strategic partnership between Russia and China. The study of the specifics of the image of the world of Chinese students seems promising to us. Of all the modern theoretical views on the psychological construct "image of the world", we see V.P. Serkin's three-layered model of the image of the world as preferable. The purpose of the article is to formalize the results of a pilot study to identify the specifics of one of the layers of the image of the world – the nuclear layer. The methods of research were the methods of A.N. Leontiev: The Test of life sense orientations and the Methodology of studying value orientations. The implemented methods made it possible to identify the specifics of the nuclear layer of the Chinese students' worldview. Chinese students have reduced indicators on the scales of general meaningfulness of life, loci of control, general goal-setting and emotional saturation of Chinese students' lives. The specifics of the distribution of terminal and instrumental values among Chinese and Russian students are revealed. Chinese students put forward values related to interpersonal interaction and adaptation in society, whereas Russian students prioritize the values of personal development. Chinese students are willing to accept external factors as a source of discipline, while Russian students are more willing to accept themselves as a source of discipline. We believe that the pilot study has confirmed the initial hypothesis about the specifics of the nuclear layer of the image of the world, and will later take its place in a full-scale study to identify the specifics of the image of the world of Chinese and Russian students.
