Исследование взаимосвязи между высшим образованием и неравенством во Вьетнаме: социокультурные основы и перспективы

Образование часто понимается как средство повышения социальной мобильности людей и уменьшения степени неравенства, которое присутствует в любом современном обществе. Однако эта прямая причинно-следственная связь между доступом к образованию и улучшением социальных результатов не всегда очевидна. В настоящей статье автор исследует взаимосвязь между социальным неравенством и высшим образованием во Вьетнаме, анализируя ряд профильных исследований, в которых показано, что расширение доступа к образованию не сразу решает проблемы неравенства. Таким образом, в статье рассмотрены социокультурные основы неравенства во Вьетнаме, влияние неолиберализма на высшее образование, а также оценены данные о связи неравенства и доступа к высшему образованию на местах. Автор считает, что скоординированный подход по обеспечению доступа к высшему образованию, получения его и построению дальнейшей карьеры путём вовлечения в социально-культурную сферу жителей сельских населенных пунктов поможет лучше удовлетворять потребности в высшем образовании тех групп населения, которые в нём нуждаются. Для понимания вопросов, связанных с высшим образованием во Вьетнаме, широкий взгляд на политику и практику предлагается дополнить более пристальным вниманием к тому, как люди ориентируются в социальных мирах, где они обитают, и, в связи с этим, как определяется их социальная идентичность.
