Экологические и социальные проблемы дельты реки Меконг во Вьетнаме

Аннотация

В статье рассматриваются особенности социально-экологической ситуации в дельте реки Меконг во Вьетнаме. В первой части анализируются причины ее деградации под влиянием факторов, связанных с хозяйственным освоением реки как в самой стране, так и за ее пределами, которые усугубляются последствиями изменения климата. Выявляется разрушение экосистемы дельты Меконга, что ставит под сомнение устойчивость будущего экономического развития региона и угрожает продовольственной безопасности и экспортному потенциалу страны. Во второй части статьи анализируется проводимая государством политика по минимизации экологических последствий осуществляемых проектов развития и адаптации к изменению климата. Автор приходит к выводу, что, несмотря на имеющиеся сложности в реализации намеченных мер, государство проявляет готовность к созданию условий для обеспечения устойчивого развития дельты Меконга.
