Аннотация

Отталкиваясь от афористического выражения С. Келлмана «Каждый транслингвальный писатель транслингвален по-своему», автор работы исследует отличительные особенности языковой биографии адыгейско-американского прозаика Кадыра Натхо (1927-2021). Выявлено, что писатель владел четырьмя языками - адыгейским, русским, арабским, английским. Показано, что главным катализатором многоязычия К. Натхо стала череда драматических и трагических событий, связанных со Второй мировой войной, вынужденной эмиграцией, семилетним пребыванием в Иордании и окончательным переселением в Соединенные Штаты Америки в середине ХХ в. Знание многих языков предопределило плотность интертекстуального пространства произведений К. Натхо («Николас и Надюша», «Старые и новые сказки Кавказа», «В поисках себя», «Легенда о великом похищении»), наличие большого количества отсылок к другим этническим культурам. Установлено, что при всей глобальности художественного мышления интернационального писателя приоритетная роль отводится родному языку: черкесские реалии, интегрированные в плоть его художественных текстов, демонстрируют Космо-Психо-Логос кавказских народов, специфические особенности их ментальности, материальной и духовной культуры.
