Word-building socio-political neologismus in russian language of the contemporary period

Abstract

The given article focuses on the problem of enriching Russian socio-political vocabulary of the contemporary period by the word-building innovations. The most active at present methods of socio-political words' building are examined, sufficiently productive word-building elements are classified and their meaning is analysed in the work. Special attention is given to the description of the modern political abbreviation phenomenon; the specific structural peculiarities and the functional purpose of new abbreviations are defined.
