The system of vocal professional education in China: traditions, principles and modernity

the article analyzes the evolution of vocal education in China, with an emphasis on historical processes, cultural characteristics and modern teaching practices. The authors explore how the traditions of Chinese music and philosophy interact with Western educational models, creating a unique vocal learning system. In particular, attention is paid to the most important stages of the formation of vocal education, starting from its roots in traditional Chinese musical forms such as opera and folk songs, and ending with modern methods that actively integrate world vocal practices. One of the main objectives of the research is to identify the specifics of vocal techniques used in Chinese universities, as well as the principles that teachers guide in the process of teaching students. Special attention is paid to the synthesis of traditional Chinese singing techniques and Western techniques, which opens up new opportunities for the formation of a flexible educational program. The practical significance of the work lies in the fact that its results can be used to develop recommendations for improving vocal education in Chinese universities, as well as for further research in the field of cultural exchange in music education and the adaptation of educational practices in a globalized world.
