Аннотация
The present article is devoted to the peculiarities of the commemorative discourse, which is a type of the institutional discourse aimed at reactualising, promoting and preserving the heritage of the past. Having analysed English-language texts of internet communication published by British and American politicians, the author reveals the most vividly expressed features of the commemorative discourse.
