Abstract

The purpose of the article is to establish the content of the concept of Work-Life-Balance in German linguistic culture. The study is based on a comparison of definitions given by sociologists and data from an associative experiment conducted by the author in 2021 in the form of google questionnaires, as well as on a comparison of the associative fields of values Leben (life) and Arbeit (work). The results obtained showed that in the minds of German speakers there are no clear integrative features, and, accordingly, a clear idea of the concept under study. Work-Life-Balance is in the process of its formation as a value.
