Abstract
The article is devoted to the extra-rational foundations of value thinking in the context of understanding the spiritual image of a person of the future. The purpose of the work is to explicate the spiritual foundation of Russian culture from the practice of mystical Orthodoxy, substantiating the connection of religious experience with cultural tradition. The aim of the study is to clarify the spiritual foundations of Russian culture drawn from the practices of mystical Orthodoxy, substantiating the connection between religious experience and cultural tradition. Using hermeneutic, hypothetico-deductive, and comparative methods, the article argues for the interconnectedness of axiological and epistemological dimensions in the process of forming value-based thinking, grounded in spiritual tradition. Based on the works of Russian philosopher S. S. Khoruzhy, as well as ancient philosophers and research in neo-anthropology, the thesis is advanced that spiritual practice constitutes the core of value-based thinking. As a result of the analysis, the article substantiates the necessity of developing non-rational cognitive capacities for the formation of value-based thinking.
