Abstract

The purpose of this work is to reveal the cultural-creative potential of the Russian poetic avant-garde from the position of a break with traditional poetics and the creation of a “self-made word” combining creative individuality and social principle. The object of the study was the processes of reformation in the field of poetic language and artistic expression. In the field of the theory of avant-garde poetics, this article is based on the programmatic statements and manifestos of key representatives of the poetic galaxy of the Russian avant-garde. The results of the study prove that in avant-garde aesthetics a special “poetics of shift” is manifested, where the word ceases to be a symbol in the classical sense, turning to itself as an acoustic and visual sign, capable of creating polysemy and multidimensionality of meaning.
