Abstract
The article presents a comparative analysis of text structures of the discursive-and-communicative form “Description” in two discourse types, text presentation parameterized by conditions and interaction channels as well as pragmatic orientation of communication. The materials under scrutiny are: Peter Bruegel the Elder’s ‘Landscape with the Fall of Icarus’ as described in the German language in the Brussels Royal Fine-Arts Museum catalogue and in a fictional essay by the German author Wolf Biermann.
