Abstract

The article discusses the new Social Media verbal aggression identification problem. The authors analyze the verbal and non-verbal content of Telegram Messenger channels disseminating information about events related to the political crisis in Brazil in late 2022 - early 2023 and propose a classification of the means of the verbal aggression as well as approaches to their translation and interpretation. The problem described in the article is of particular importance in the context of the increasing role of the so-called new media and modern informational confrontation and the transformation of information and cognitive space into the operational domains.
