Abstract

The paper dills with characteristics of one of the groups of public speech genres – informational texts – on the material of the German language: the emphasis on the reported information, the predominance of content over form, the importance of the speaker's individual style. The author shows how the above-mentioned parameters of informational texts determine the specifics of the interpreter's preparation to work with such texts.
