Resumo
This article is dedicated to the analysis of preverbs in Latin and Italian languages. The study examines the concept of preverbs, provides a critical review of previous research on preverbs, their characteristics, and their role in Latin and Italian languages. A comparative analysis of Latin and Italian preverbs is conducted taking into account their semantic, syntactic, and morphological features. In particular, their evolution over time is considered. The results of the analysis may be useful for linguists studying the structure and development of languages.
