Abstract
the purpose of the study is to analyze the main trends in the development of agricultural production in the Perm region. Methods: the methods used in the presented study are economic and statistical methods, monographic method and comparative method. Findings: the scientific article presents an analysis of statistical data on agricultural production in the Perm region, and compares changes in the volume of agricultural production in physical mass and in current prices. Conclusions: when conducting a study of crop production volume indices in 2019-2023, an increase in production volumes was revealed in 2020 and 2022, while a decline in production volumes was observed in 2019, 2021 and 2023; a study of livestock production volume indices in 2019–2023 showed relative stability; an analysis of crop and livestock production volumes assessed at current prices showed that an increase in production volumes was observed from 2019 to 2022, while a decline in the indicators was revealed in 2023; fluctuations in livestock and poultry production volumes in slaughter weight terms are observed, while milk and egg production has been steadily increasing in the study period.
