Public Speech as an Object of Professionally Oriented Foreign Language Teaching (Political Sciences)

Resumo

The article substantiates the importance of mastering the basic elements of public speech for vocationally oriented teaching of foreign languages. The necessity of interrelated learning of listening and speaking, namely the formation of mechanisms of information processing, is considered. The teaching of public speaking skills includes several stages from receptive-productive to creative-productive. Listening skills are developed according to the detailed and critical levels of understanding.
