Abstract
The article discusses some issues of the relationship between the right to use physical force, special means and firearms, along with the obligation to “minimize harm.” The lexical and legal analysis of the obligation to “minimize harm” in cases where the right to use these forceful measures arises gives reason to believe that some changes should be made to the current legislation, which are proposed by the author in the concluding part of the publication.
