Abstract
The article considers the outcome and prospects of teaching CIS languages in the MSLU on the basis of tried-and-tested techniques. Special attention is paid to designing complex textbooks for different stages of education. The article introduces the basic criteria to assess a textbook in terms of its concept, its contents and didactic instructions. The article is concerned with the concept of a vocationally oriented language textbook, including the structure of the textbook.
