Interaction of Internal Affairs Bodies with the Population as a Basis for the Formation Of Citizens’ Trust in the Police in Modern Russia

The article analyzes the problem of police interaction with citizens. The author considers some forms of interaction between the police and society. The analysis of individual sociological concepts made it possible to determine the key role of interaction in the formation of citizens’ trust in the police. With the help of secondary data analysis, as well as the focus group method, the main problems arising during the interaction of the police with citizens, as well as the main directions of strengthening the trust of citizens of the police, are identified.
