Russia and the United States at the Beginning of 2020s: New Perspectives for the Formation of Non-West World Order

Abstract

Relations between Russia (USSR) and America has always had global dimension and influence. At the beginning of 2020s Russian-American relations remain of key importance for the future world development. American policy aimed at establishing liberal world order has entered a new phase bringing instability and threat of a big conflict. Russia and China representing non-Western approach to new world order formation are facing an opportunity and challenge to take initiative and start establishing new institutions as a base for polycentric world order, to neutralize policies of the United States and its followers, and stop further destabilization of international relations.
