Классические теории национализма в контекстах истории миноритарных национализмов Великобритании: региональные националистические движения как «маргинальный» сюжет современной историографии национализма

Аннотация

Цель представленного исследования – анализ возможности использования классических теорий национализма, предложебнных в научной литературе, для анализа истории миноритарных национализмов в британской историографической ситуации. Автор в статье анализирует сложности интеграции и ассимиляции идеальных моделей Руритании и Мегаломании как воображаемых национализирующихся и модернизирующихся обществ, предложенных Э. Геллнером, а также периодизацию национализма Мирослава Хроха как «идеальные» интерпретационные модели в контекстах британской историографии. Предметом представленной статьи являются классические модернистские теории национализма, объектом – возможности их применения в британских исторических исследованиях для изучения истории миноритарных национализмов. Предполагается, что процессы националистической модернизации и развития региональных национализмов, с одной стороны, воспринимаются через призму конструктивистского подхода. С другой стороны, автор полагает, что британский исторический материал характеризуется значительной степенью сопротивления и поэтому использование классических теорий национализма в контекстах консерватизма историографического воображения в Великобритании является дискуссионным. В статье проанализированы сложности интеграции истории региональных миноритарных национализмов и английского национализма в контексты социокультурного модернизма классических теорий национализма. Результаты исследования позволяют предположить, что для современной британской историографической ситуации одновременно характерен интерес к проблемам социальной истории региональных национализмов и значительный консерватизм, который проявляется в игнорировании классических теорий национализма, несмотря на эффективность их интерпретационных моделей.
