Small Nations of Europe and the Modern Challenges: the Problem of Self-Identification

Resumo

The article is devoted to the actual problem of regional separatism in European countries. The author suggests that now we can witness the rise of regional movements for independence all over the world. The problem of separatism of small nations of Europe sharpens after recognition of Kosovo's independence. The author proposes that establishment of common «European home» can wither destructive potential of separatist movements.
