Authorities and the Media in the «Politics» of the Russian Federation in 1993-1999: the Transformation of Models of Interaction

The article deals with the cooperation between the authorities and mass-media in the most complicated period of the political and socioeconomic development of the post-Soviet Russia. Reasoning from the message that in contexts of crisis Russian authorities had to place their stake on the information resources and active cooperation with media community, the author reviews the evolution of mass-media role in the process of providing the Russian governmental bodies` stability in the other half of 1990th.
