Abstract

In article are generalized the processes аctivization of the comparative literature in Russia in 70th of the XX-th century. The special attention is given to the Russian scientists who have suggested to compare literatures not only similar historical generality as it was earlier, but also literatures in many senses stay far from each other. V. Zhirmunsky offers four basic aspects of comparative studying of literatures.
