Abstract
The article contains the analysis of special issues of Russian mass popular scientific magazine «Vokrug Sveta», which are devoted to China, India and Izrael. The structure of «Vokrug Sveta» magazine, its system of genres including news articles, popular scientific features and essays, colorful illustrations and infographics allow to represent Russian audience the unique cultural and social life of other nations. The magazine under consideration realizes the ideology of glocalization creating the image of local cultures in global context of their cooperation and strengthening cross-cultural relations among countries.
