Abstract
This article deals with the formation and development of technosphere (the nexus of science and technology) in 20 th—21 st century, the role of educational institutions in the process of modernization of the economy and public life at the example of the world’s technology leaders (United States, Japan), as well as methodological problems of the Russian economy.
