Abstract
The article focuses on two works of art: the painting “Female Musicians” by the Master of the Female Half-Lengths from the Hermitage Museum collection and the piece “At the Hermitage” from the film “Melodies of a White Night” composed by Isaac Schwartz. The author aims to give an example of using musical pastiche in the field of movie music with the idea of inclusion of a painting within the media text structure.
