Abstract
В настоящее время известно более 40 лекарственных растений, которые могут вызывать разные гормональные изменения в организме. На основе лекарственных растений, обладающих гормональной активностью, производят лекарственные средства, а также биологически активные добавки (БАД). Некоторые лекарственные растения вызывают разные нарушения менструального цикла (МЦ), что служит доказательством их гормональной активности. МЦ – сложный физиологический процесс, в котором принимают участие структуры гипоталамуса, вырабатывающие рилизинг-гормоны, гипофиз, продуцирующий гонадотропные гормоны, и яичники, вырабатывающие эстрогены и прогестероны. Считается, что нарушения МЦ, вызванные приемом лекарственных растений, обусловлены, главным образом, их эстрогенной активностью. На сегодняшний день известно около 20 лекарственных растений, изменяющих МЦ.
