The article presents a methodology for individualizing special physical training for multi-event athletes, developed based on the biomechanical characteristics of the 100-meter hurdle sprint, high jump, and long jump techniques.
The purpose of this study is to scientifically develop a methodology for individualizing special physical training for multi-event athletes based on the biomechanical characteristics of the 100-meter hurdle sprint, high jump, and long jump techniques.
Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, biomechanical analysis, methods of mathematical statistics.
Research results and conclusions. Based on the conducted biomechanical analysis, it has been identified that multi-event athletes can be divided into two groups according to the rhythmic-temporal structure of the last three steps during their run-up. Based on the identified features of the technique, a methodology for individualizing special physical training in the athletic heptathlon has been developed.
